ORGANIC THEATRE

Manish Mitra is pursuing a new notion in the name of Organic Theatre. For him, the term Organic Theatre is a misnomer because any theatre has to be necessarily organic in nature, a living organism is always functioning at its centre. But the vigorous glamour practise in the name of theatre induces him to name it like that. He believes in sourcing energy from nature and developing a new theatre language with elements from traditional and folk theatre of the country. On this meeting he intends to demonstrate the same on the following lines:

1) Performance body and its functioning. How the performance energy can be cultivated through breathing, Yoga and traditional scores from Indian Theatre. 2) Music and performance body i.e. how the body response to the music and how the musical body

His actors and musicians and actors will accompany him in the demonstration
