Listening Lab invites you to participate online in an ongoing research project into listening. Listening is the quiet side of communication and is rarely taught or studied. Yet listening is vital and necessary if we are to better understand each other and make sense of our world. The Listening Lab offers you an opportunity to focus on your ability to listen, specifically in an online environment. By participating in the Listening Lab you can expect to discover more about yourself in terms of what kind of a listener you are and what limits your ability to listen. The overall aim of the Listening Lab is for us to collectively research listening to discover what makes listening easy or difficult and how to become a better listener.
The Listening Laboratory Online was created specifically for Towards Constellations’21 by Charles Veevers (M. Counseling Psychology, M. Psychoanalysis). Charles is a psychoanalytically oriented clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist to individuals and couples. He runs his own practice in Melbourne, Australia. You can directly message him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only registered users for this activity are able to see the private menu including the Zoom links, teacher’s notes, reading list, and other files. You can have Full Access by contributing us what you can to cover our costs. If you are having financial difficulties please contact us via email@example.com for free registration to the events.
