Working with the Swing, Foxtrot and the ballroom community’s version of the Rumba, Dancing in Small Spaces will be short sessions through Zoom. Last year at Constellation Summer Camp 2019, Ballroom Dancing with Humans developed connections through partner-dance ignoring gendered roles and positions. This year, as we meet in far away places, Dancing in Small Spaces will be a small relief from the screens, while still keeping us together.

Materials:

  • A little space (not much!)
  • Potentially a broom stick or cane if you are alone
  • A book that isn’t too heavy

Partner:

  • You don’t need one!
  • If you do happen to have a family member, housemate, or pet that would like to join, please feel free to invite them.

Foxtrot: Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th, Monday 21st, 15:30-16:00 (UTC+2)
Rumba: Sunday 20th, Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd, 20:00-20:30 (UTC+2)
Swing: Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd, Thursday 24th, 15:30-16:00 (UTC+2)
